| Norbert Rosing, was born in northern Germany (Münsterland) 1953, and now lives with his wife Elli in Bavaria. |
| His photographic career has been caused by passion for nature, animals and photography. |
| He was able to afford his first camera by setting up bowling pins in a bowling alley. Every weekend I took his camera to the
surrounding mountains enthusiastically and started to travel to Scandinavia. |
| The big turn of events came with the great project The World of the Polar Bear in 1988 and at the same time he switched to the
Leica R system. Since then, he consistently pursues this topic and travels to the Arctic every year. This yields books, calendars, articles in
magazines, exhibitions and participation in international competitions. |
